Overview

The Zoom Meetings integration connects your CulinaryNomics account to Zoom so consultants, auditors, and restaurant teams can schedule and join video calls directly from a report or consultation record — no copy-pasting links or switching tabs.

Once connected, a Schedule Zoom Call action appears on consultation and audit records. Meetings created this way are automatically attached to that record, and anyone with access to it can join with one click.

Before you start

  • A CulinaryNomics account with the Owner or Admin role (needed to manage Integrations).
  • A Zoom account — Free or Paid — that you can sign in to.
  • If your organization restricts which apps employees can install on Zoom, ask your Zoom account admin to pre-approve CulinaryNomics from the Zoom App Marketplace.

Adding the app

Connect your Zoom account once; every teammate with access to a consultation or audit can then use it.

  1. 1Sign in to CulinaryNomics and open Settings → Integrations.
  2. 2Find the Zoom Meetings card and select Connect.
  3. 3You're redirected to Zoom. Sign in if you aren't already.
  4. 4Zoom shows the permissions CulinaryNomics is requesting — creating, viewing, and updating meetings, and reading your basic profile. Review them.
  5. 5Select Allow.
  6. 6You're redirected back to CulinaryNomics. The Integrations page now shows Connected with your Zoom account email.
Installing from the Zoom App Marketplace page instead? Search for CulinaryNomics, select Add, and follow the same authorization screen — you'll land back on this same Integrations page once it's approved.

Using the app

Schedule a call

  1. 1Open the consultation or audit record you want to discuss.
  2. 2Select Create Meeting.
  3. 3Choose a date, time, and the people to invite — CulinaryNomics sends them the invite visible on the meeting dashboard.
  4. 4The meeting now appears on the record, with a Join button visible to everyone invited.

Join

  • Select Join on the record, or use the link in your calendar invite.

Removing the app

Disconnecting Zoom doesn't delete past meetings or recordings — it only stops CulinaryNomics from creating new ones until you reconnect.

From CulinaryNomics

  1. 1Open Settings → Integrations.
  2. 2On the Zoom Meetings card, select Disconnect.
  3. 3Confirm. CulinaryNomics's access token is revoked immediately.

From Zoom

If you're offboarding, or no longer have access to CulinaryNomics, remove the app from the Zoom side instead:

  1. 1Sign in at zoom.us and go to the App Marketplace.
  2. 2Select Manage → Installed Apps (or Added Apps).
  3. 3Find CulinaryNomics and select Remove.

Troubleshooting

Clicking Connect doesn't redirect to Zoom

Check that your browser isn't blocking the pop-up or redirect, then try again.

Zoom says I don't have permission to install apps

Your Zoom account admin has app installs locked down. Ask them to pre-approve CulinaryNomics from the Zoom App Marketplace, then try connecting again.

I disconnected by mistake

Go back to Settings → Integrations and select Connect again — you'll keep all previously scheduled meetings.
